Mountaire Farms Presents 73rd Salisbury Jaycees Christmas Parade

Intersection of Civic Avenue and Mt Hermon Road

For more than 70 years, the Salisbury Jaycees have diligently worked to plan and organize the annual Salisbury Christmas parade. The 73rd annual parade is presented by Mountaire Farms. The theme for the parade is ‘A Very Country Christmas’.

This year’s parade will remain on the same route as in recent years. The parade will commence at the intersection of Civic Avenue and Mt Hermon Road and will move west along Mt. Hermon road to East Main Street. It will end at the intersection of Ward and East Main Street.

Salisbury Bike partY in the 2019 Christmas Parade w/ Mayor Day!

Mayor Day will be on foot and leading the Salisbury Bike partY and Shore Velocity in the 2019 Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade down East Main Street!

Ages 12 and up can ride on bikes, younger than that should be in a trailer or on a tag-along attached to your bike.

Critter Christmas

Santa needs your help! Because there are so many people on the nice list this year, Santa has decided to set up a workshop right here at the Salisbury Zoo! At this workshop you will be helping Santa create over a dozen different craft projects to five as gifts, decorate your home and spread Christmas cheer.

Winter Wonderland

Sat, Dec 21, 10 AM – 2 PM

This year we welcome you to “Toyland”. Each child will get their own elf hat to decorate and wear as they stroll through a makeshift toy land through the galleries. Visitors will get to participate in theater games with the Community Players of Salisbury as part of the museum’s free monthly Drop in Art program.

New Year's Eve Ball Drop in Salisbury

Ring in the New Year in Downtown Salisbury, with the 2019 New Years Eve Ball Drop. This year's ball drop will take place at Main and N. Division Streets and you can watch it on the outdoor jumbotron while enjoying the DJ. All ages welcome.

Santa’s Coming To Accomac Library

Sat, Dec 7, 10 AM – 12 PM

Santa will have a book (English or Spanish) for each child from age newborn to 12. He will give a candy cane to all believers. Bring your camera to capture the event for your family.

Frozen Food & Bake Sale

Sat, Dec 14, 8 – 10 AM

Soroptimist of Accomack County will be having a Frozen Food & Bake Sale on Saturday, December 14th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at the Onley United Methodist Church on East Main Street in Onley. Goodies may include frozen casserole, quiches, soup, chili, baked goods and more! Proceeds benefit our Community.

RCEC Presents: It’s a Wonderful Life- A Holiday Movie

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas- so kick off the holidays and OBCA’s Christmas Homes Tour with this Christmas classic. Step back into the simpler times of 1946 in a typical American town and enjoy this heartwarming story of the life of George Bailey.

The movie is FREE. Doors open 45 minutes before the movie start, so get there early to grab your FREE popcorn/soda combo.
